This lesson has a video. It is being moved to our own hosting and will appear here shortly; the reading below stands on its own.

In North Korea, the government controls all aspects of Korean life. Most forms of entertainment are supported and controlled by the government. Even the work of artists is restricted. Anything that conflicts with Communist principles is forbidden. It is one of the most highly controlled societies in the world. The government has officially decided against Christianity and the gospel for the entire nation. The North Koreans are in need of political and spiritual freedom.

Prayer Points:

Pray for an openness to the gospel to grow in the hearts of North Koreans.

Pray for protection and strength for the persecuted underground church.

Pray for the laws restricting the gospel to be changed.

Watch the video and then dedicate the next five minutes to praying for our unreached people group of the day.

As a group, read through the prayer points aloud.

Encourage different people to pray out loud for a specific point, allowing for short pauses between each prayer.

Conclude the prayer time with a moment of silence, followed by a final prayer led by the group facilitator.
